About Finishing Salts
Finishing salts are used to add flavor and texture to a completed recipe.
We use a medium-course sea salt that is small enough to sprinkle onto your dish at the end of cooking or right before consuming but large enough to grind up if needed.

My Journey Back to Basics is unable to accept returns or exchanges on food products because they are perishable items. Our products are packaged within 2 weeks of your order from our residential kitchen. For this reason, and our high standards in food safety, returns can’t be placed back into inventory.
All of our spices, herbs, blends, and ingredients are of the highest quality and we stand by our products. However, If you have an issue with a product please contact us within 20 days of your order so we can resolve it mutually.
If you received the wrong product or a shipment was damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will provide a replacement. We will request images of the damaged product.
