Hawaij Seafood and Barley Soup
French Onion Soup
There are countless “authentic” recipes out there for French Onion soup. After trying several over them I decided to really got back to basics and look at the history of the soup as well as tips from individuals such as Jacques Pepin and Julia Child. This recipe embodies the “ less is more” mentality and let’s the onion speak for itself and shine. Creating this soup is anything but quick, but it is completely worth it,
“This is my invariable advice to people: Learn how to cook- try new recipes, learn from your mistakes, be fearless, and above all have fun”
~ Julia Child
